Sad days have fallen upon me. Yesterday Liz and I were driving to my parents house for a family get together in my Civic. I was at the last stoplight before my parents house. There was a car in front of me. That car started going forward when the light turned green. I started going after that car. Then for reasons unknown the car in front of me started slowing down. I slowed down as well. But the person in front of me was still accelerating and ran into the back of me.
We pulled into the Holiday Oil to access the damage. My bumper was hit in pretty good and partially pulled off, but no one was injured. I called my insurance agent who lives just around the corner. He came and looked at it. Because the other driver didn't have a valid insurance card on them, he suggested I call the cops. It took them about 45 minutes to come look at it. The cop and the people in the other car were nice and everything. Now I have to go get estimates so I can get my car fixed. I vote down with accidents.
